The Club's "signature" project is a partnership with Howard County's Community Action Council (501(c)3) whereby the Club conducts a major fundraising drive that enables dozens of eligible children who reside in households that are below the US poverty line to participate in a seven-week program of learning and cultural enrichment that "bridges" the learning gap between the end of formal Head Start education and mainstream K-12 eduction.  In addition to raising money, the Club members actively participate in the program by reading to the children and assisting the teachers and staff as required.  The Club is also responsible for lining up different cultural experiences.  Recent cultural experiences include Columbia's Pro Cantare, the Cindee Velle Dance Company, and the Columbia Orchestra.
